Hey Aanand! Thanks for your message. The jury meeting will take place in berlin on Tuesday. A group of 20 experts from Bombarier prepared a presentation with the 60 best freely created and 100 best configured designs and we'll take all day on Tuesday with the jury for finding the bet ones. hey aanand your right some works are a little basic. i been a little tired much work and so less time to do it. i will to post new and better ones.... by the way do you work for bombardier or your a simple contestent. EMDesigns

aanand, these days everything relates to technology..and just a bit of research will tell you that fade resistant, fire retardent upholstery is becoming common in public tranportation...no hard feeling!!! Bluemoon

yeah yeah maybe so.. thanks for the tip.. fade resistant fabric would be great don't you think.. maybe its being done on seats already in Bombardier rails. Bluemoon

Hi aanand, you have mentioned that i should work on colors!! i feel its my inspirations and my colors thats making my designs not look like your Dark toned ones.. which i would not prefer to have on seats of any train!!lol!! I prefer very bright and vivid colors.. anyway.. your contructive critisizm is welcome! thanks. Bluemoon

I donno why you think this contest is senseless. I find it a good platform. Also, i am sure, their is a way bombardier will use it. Ofcourse, if you want to know how the results of seat configurator will be used, you should check with diplomod, he is the moderator. aanand

hey guys. this seat contest is senseless. if you design a seat u have also to consider the design of the whole tram. and the design of the tram depends on the market and the client u build the tram for. So: who cares about these designs? i dont think that someone will design a tram based on a seat design... LOL 4ever10

nice to me, means that it is acceptable, but may not meet the desired standards, of the project in question. but still is evaluated with one star. since the evaluation is from 1 to 5 five for me is incredable. EMDesigns

About your seating Concept. Anand, is this some kind of joke with peoples, i think you don't know how to sit on seat and whats the height of traveling chair. If you sit like this so your legs joint will be damaged soon. You tried good but its waste of time. Vikas Chaudhary

yeh, but then you single out the thing I'm most concerned about : different sized people. For example here in Finland you wouldn't be able to get that design through because of that issue, as people from child to elderly use trains and metros daily. Parents want to hold children on their laps etc. It's a space saving idea and a good one for that, but the limitations this would issue for the everyday passengers are, in my opinion, quite severe. SkyWay

I think you should doing more projects like the unconventional seat instead of the "go green" stuff lol. Jince
